The Gatehouse is a heritage-listed building. We offer affordable, comfortable and quiet accommodation for groups of up to eighteen guests. It is perfect for family get-togethers.
The guest rooms allow great flexibility for any group. Six guest bedrooms provide a range of single, double and queen beds. You’ll enjoy the fully-equipped kitchen and meals area, separate dining room, and a comfortable living area with AUSTAR to relax in at the end of the day.

Our group of eight cyclists thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Beechworth and surrounds with the accommodation being perfect. The lockable storage for the bikes was ideal, as was the outdoor BBQ area and the beds were super comfortable. The Gatehouse accommodation met all our needs and it was a real joy to be staying amongst the beautiful trees and history of Beechworth. We will certainly stay there again!

Our group had a wonderful weekend. The accommodation was spectacular. We appreciated the heating and lights on ready for our arrival. Although it is such a large house the heating was more than adequate. There were 10 females in our group so the three toilets and bathrooms were very much appreciated. The beds were extremely comfortable and we all commented on the high quality of the bed linen… so luxurious. Thank you!

The Gatehouse is located at the entrance to the historic Mayday Hills complex, and only 500 metres from the centre of the historic gold mining town of Beechworth. It's a wonderful base for exploring everything north-east Victoria has to offer...
